Founded in 1993 as a woman-owned small business, Environmental Research, Inc. has a staff of dedicated professionals with in-depth expertise and experience in a broad range of disciplines. These areas include stereoscopic imagery analysis of current and historical imagery of various types, analytical and softcopy photogrammetric data collection using both current and historical aerial photographs, geographic information systems development and production including imagery orthorectification, along with environmental and wetland sciences, wetland ground delineations, digital cartography and graphic arts.

Over the past 15 years Environmental Research, Inc. has been engaged by a wide variety of both public and private clients and has conducted hundreds of imagery analyses and mapping projects in forty seven states as well as in Puerto Rico, Iceland, Japan and Angola.
